I learned:

Irsol, a band reformed for their first gig in 43 years. It was a free event - more a 'dress rehearsal' for their main event; being the opening act at the VOD2 festival in Germany. I went to school with the three band members, and university with one of them. Ironically, the latter is the person that I've seen the least over the intervening years.
We were staying at the same hotel (The Telegraph Hotel - check it out, it's amazing), so had a great catch-up over breakfast, before going on our separate ways once more. At least we have each other's contact details now.

Wednesday was a trip to Tradegar in Wales. Had a look around some shops and the park. Oh, and looked at a house.

A GP appointment on Thursday and a financial advisor appointment on Friday complete a week of non-client work.
