With a bank holiday at the beginning of the week, and a long birthday weekend at the end of the week, I mainly spent the in-between-time on things that were uncomplicated and time-bounded.
A couple of client meetings made up the bulk of the work - pre-meeting prep, and post-meeting follow-ups included.
I published a post about organisational debt, along with a free diagnostic tool that leaders can use to help them identify and prioritise organisational debt in their businesses.
I also published a piece about whether writer's retreats are more a state of mind than a physical location.
For my birthday weekend I went and stayed with a very good friend in West Sussex. On Saturday, we went into London - Tate Modern, followed by Borough Market, and then on to the Cinema Museum in Lambeth, where we watched a Q&A with cast from The Sweeney. Very interesting and entertaining in equal measures.
Listening highlights:
- Haute & Freddy "Big Disgrace" album. (Again)
- Super Jet Kinoko "Kinoko Bible -Ore No Bosssa II-" album.
- M.I.A. "M.I.7" album. Not sure I'll be playing this one that often.
- Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers "Glory (Deluxe)" album. All female Australian alternative/rock. Very good. Takes me back to my youth; there is much to enjoy here.
