Very short (and slightly late) week note this time around, because I was unwell for most of the week, and I'm still somewhat groggy.
On the couple of days that I was not incapacitated, I:
- Had a purge of my various websites. Started to rationalise where different articles sit and remove some duplication.
- Was mildly frustrated by a number of power outages. When it became apparent that it was going to be more of an ongoing issue, I took to the reMarkable and did some writing and thinking.
- Managed to get One Thing at a Time out on The Ode Map.
My listening highlights this week:
- islandman "island5 album. Turkish fold/psychedelia. Nice.
- Shitkid "The Essential (Vol 1)". Swedish lo-fi pop/punk/garage. I can't remember how this came onto my radar (head still fuzzy), but I'm glad it did.
- RAYE "THIS MUSIC MAY CONTAIN HOPE." album. I started listening but didn't get far - not because of the music, but because of me being unwell. Will try again next week.
- Madilyn Mei. I have a playlist that is just Madilyn Mei stuff. Very good when you're not feeling 100%.
