I completely re-tagged all 30+ posts on The Ode Map. It was too loose and unstructured, so I decided it was time to categorise, consolidate and define a tagging structure that is: appropriate to the material; easy to use; and which increases post visibility. I got my 'assistant' to suggest the new scheme and, with a few manual tweaks from me, a lot of time was saved.
I also made the decision to make The Ode Map completely free and open to non-subscribers. I need to update all the copy that accompanies the site still - hopefully next week.
The CloudFlare issue gave me a chance to work on more creative stuff, which was nice. If it hadn’t been for the downtime, I probably wouldn’t have done any creative writing at all this week.
I also managed to move some warm leads forward a notch, which is comforting.
My copy of Sam Bhagwat's book, "Principles of Building AI Agents", arrived and I had a quick skim through, with a view to having a more thorough read next week.
The week was topped off with a visit to see my daughter and grandchildren. I wish I lived closer.
As usual, quite an eclectic mix of listening this week:
- Attrition - “One Horse Rider: Reprise” EP
- Raven Numan - “In This Twilight” single
- I Speak Machine - “Eat You Alive” single
- Yndling - “Time, Time, Time” album
- Anushka - “Ancestry” album
- SHEL - “Just Crazy Enough” album
- Airsine - “Sync” single
- (s)cutlass - “Swan Lake / Death Disco” single
The highlight of the listening week, though, was the return of the latest series of the “Add to Playlist” podcast (BBC). This podcast is the reason why my music library is so darn big.
On the watching front:
- Caught up on the latest episodes of: Return to Paradise; Shetland; Loot; and Down Cemetery Road.
- Started (re-)watching Star Trek: Strange New Worlds
- Started on the latest series of “Only Murders in the Building”
- The film, “Mr Burton” (BBC), was brilliant.
See you next week!
