Last week was a holiday week. I spent the week in Northumbria with the family, visiting the in-laws and generally relaxing. Saw a lot of ducks, peafowl, horses and dogs.
The journey home was split with a stop off in North Northamptonshire to watch my elder grandson participate in a skateboarding competition.
I think the holiday was mainly about eating, though.
Thanks to the miracle of scheduling, I still managed to publish a personal (creative writing) blog post and a ‘professional’ blog post that I’d written before the holiday.
I also got a couple of good daily outlines from Overclock that I can work with. The week before they had been pretty useless. (Well, not suitable for what I want to convey. I imagine they’d be perfectly reasonable starting points for someone else.)
see here - but didn’t embark on anything major, so as not to be frustrated by limited time available.
post by 100 Libraries about the rebuilding of the Altadena library after the devastating fires.
all about the talk. I need to finalise this pretty sharpish so I can practice and refine.
